Space Vision 2020

It should be said that when the space exploration started to develop very quickly, all of us supposed that the travels to Mars would become a reality just within several years. Several years have passed but we still are waiting... or even forget about such opportunities. We should admit that for ordinary people space remains to be the incredible thing only in various computer games and sci-fi films. That's all.

But of course, it doesn't mean that this field is not developed any more. The public just stop to be interested in such things. The same can't be said about the scientists who are involved in this process. There are special programs, conferences and just plans which have to be fulfilled till deadline. Nowadays we all are interested in space vision 2020. Though it should be noted that the cardinal things will be made till 2010. Of course, if everything is done in time.

Thus, in accordance with the United State policy and space vision 2020 in the whole world, there are such space programs which have to be made in accordance with the schedule. International Space Station should work by 2010, Space Shuttle should be retired till 2010, and of course, robotic spacecraft missions in order to Explore the Moon by 2008. It should be said that crewed missions to the Moon are the main problem of space vision 2020. Explore Mars is also on the list of these programs, but there is no deadline. In other words, it is not a prerogative mission. Though the Mars Society is dissatisfied with such a program, just because supposes that Mars exploration is more important than flights to the Moon.
